The Chakra Healing Project was born when a designer’s vision met a creator’s devotion.
Amber envisioned a way that would bring together colour, symbolism and the healing philosophy of the chakra system in a way that people could experience every day.
She believed beautiful craftsmanship could become a bridge between wellbeing, culture and community.
Amina brought that vision to life. With extraordinary patience and dedication, she hand stitched the very first Chakra Design Yoga Mat Bag. It took more than two years to complete. Every stitch represented skill, devotion and love. That very first creation became the the seed of a movement, the foundation of what is now the Chakra Project.

Each woman brings her own creativity, experience and spirit to every piece she creates.
Together they preserve traditional hand-stitching techniques while building brighter futures for themselves and their families. For many of these women, stitching is far more than a craft.

The Journey Behind Every Stitch
From Vision to Stitch
Every masterpiece begins with an idea.
Long before the first Chakra Yoga Mat Bag existed, there were only sketches, colours, symbols and a vision.
Amber carefully developed a complete design system that translated the ancient wisdom of the seven chakras into a handcrafted artwork.
Every colour was chosen. Every symbol was refined. Every stitch was planned.
To bring that vision to life, Amber created detailed colour charts, thread guides and a colour-by-number stitching system that enabled every chakra to be hand stitched exactly as intended.
Working patiently with these guides, Amina spent more than two years stitching the very first Chakra Yoga Mat Bag entirely by hand.
The original design became the foundation for everything the Chakra Healing Project creates today.
What began as one extraordinary collaboration has grown into a project that now supports women artisans while preserving traditional hand-stitching techniques for future generations.
