WE ARE THE CHAKRA PROJECT

Successful self-help scheme, which has allowed many women of Kashmir in the foothills of the Himalayas in northern India, to overcome some tough life experiences & learn new skills. The women involved in the scheme have come from difficult backgrounds. They had been disadvantaged by factors like exploitation, high unemployment & lack of education.

THE SCHOOL OF HEALING ARTS

By setting up workshops in activities such as handicraft, tailoring, cutting and designing, the women learn new skills and begin to understand the art of creativity, which in turn, boosts their confidence and morale. We now create these exciting and exclusive Chakra designs like:
